The Truflation sources the Transportation data from 7 different data providers (as of March 2022) amongst them JDPower, CarGurus, and EAI.
Used Cars
The Truflation Index uses 3 different data providers, including the across-US car sellers and widely used car price aggregators. 2 new providers were added on the 15th of March 2022.
New Cars
The new data source from the major car price aggregator has been added on the 15th of March 2022 to supplement the BLS data.
Energy commodities & Gasoline
We source the energy utilities and gasoline prices from EIA and the energy commodities prices from a known commodities markets data aggregator.
